Image Persistence works in the Image Persistence series begin with a digital image of an artwork no longer in my possession. The image is photographed directly from my computer screen with all the attendant dust, grime, pixelation, and reflections. This gesture erases the distance between originals and their copies, posing questions about the fidelity of reproductions, how something physically absent can be accessed, albeit vicariously, and made present again.
