It's ok, we're all heading the same way

This work combines references to time, circulation and varied forms of memory: material, somatic, and personal. Objects that are shaped by the body such as foam earplugs, chewing gum, hairbands, appear in the work either as images debossed into paper, or the actual objects wedged between the frame and the glass, referencing the inside and outside of a body. They convey a series of residual impressions - physical traces, images of subjects that persist or disappear at different durations (a piece of dead foliage, the human body, a reproduction of a 'Reflecting' photograph with its multiple embedded images), time recorded in the date on the photo taken from my Instagram account.
